As for our annual summer program 21 students from Istanbul Technical University, Middle East Technical University, and Bogazici University visited Japan.
This year, they attended not only the program but also the Symposium held on 18th and 19th of July.
Course1 group (UTokyo) experienced special lectures and in the latter half of the program they visited several private company related to resilience engineering such as nuclear power plant.
On the other hand, course2 group students stayed in a lab and worked with Japanese students and their host professors. They spent several time for company visit as well.
During their stay, we were also invited to the welcome reception at the official residence of Turkish Ambassador Dr. Hasan Murat Mercan. We really appreciate his kind support for our student exchange program.
