Joint Symposium was held in Sanjo Hall for commemorate the final year Japan-Turkey Inter-University Exchange Project.
In the first day of this symposium, honorary guest speech was given from Her Imperial Highness Princess Akiko of Mikasa, followed by other special guest speeches from Ambassador His Excellency Dr. Hasan Murat Mercan, and the MEXT.
In the oral presentation session, Tokyo University of the Arts, Niigara University and Fukushima University reported their activities for this 5 years.
The second day, special keynote speech by Mr. Imaishi of Taisei Corporation lead the program. And our group -The University of Tokyo and Tokyo Tech – also prepared presentations by students who has attended to our program before.
Although this Inter-University Project will complete this year, new projects such as TJU are also working. From this symposium, we reaffirmed the importance of keeping strong connection which had been achieved through all program until now.
